I am happy to report that Garrath continues to improve. His battle however has been very long and very brutal. Thank God he has now come out the other side. Apart from the enormous physical stresses his body has been subjected, his mental strength of character has been tested in every possible sense. One would find it hard to imagine the hurdles that have been presented to him. His "rock of support" left him when he finished his final treatment. Most recently he missed out on a promotional opportunity even though he has worked relentlessly during his ordeal. With all the torturous treatment to which he has been subjected over the past two years, he always remained focused on the simple things in life to keep him going; his girlfriend and his job. Both in the cruelest manner have been affected. I know he will overcome these troubles, just like he has all the others. I just ask that you keep him in your prayers and hope that better times lie close ahead.
